Huge thanks to Garfield Weston for grant funding of £5000 which will be used for general running costs. It’s estimated that it takes about £100 per day to keep the Slough foodbank operation going. Each can/packet donated to us goes through up to 10 stages of handling before reaching the person in need. Naturally there are costs involved in this process and unrestricted funds help us to be able to deliver this service to those in need in our local community.
