We’re very pleased to hear that Co-op plan to limit food waste by selling ambient foods for 10p after the Best Before Date. We hope this will be of extreme value to many people. However, our “out of date” policy remains that we cannot accept or give out items past their BBE date.
We want our clients to feel valued and, therefore, want to give them the best. We offer our own beyond BBE dated foods in “Help Yourself” boxes in addition to the food parcels that we give.
