FIGURES FOR THE NUMBER OF FOOD PARCELS PROVIDED BY SLOUGH FOODBANK DURING 1 – 31 March 2022, COMPARED WITH THE SAME PERIOD IN 2021.
Total number of food parcels: 731, a 10% increase
Number of adults: 438, a 8% increase
Number of children: 293, a 14% increase
These figures once again show a continued increase in demand for Slough Foodbank as more people are facing tough decisions, with the rising cost of living putting them into food poverty crisis.
