Over 1.1 tonnes from Tesco in-store collection

We want to say a huge thank you to the Community Champions at Tesco Slough and Tesco Taplow and Slough Foodbank Volunteers, for enabling us to do an in-store collection on Friday 16th June. Over 1.1 tonnes of food and basic toiletries were collected through the generosity of Tesco customers.

Thank you to the Mayor, Cllr Abassi who came along to show his support – pictured here with Becks Ford from Slough Foodbank.

Thanks also to our corporate friends at Reckitt who weighed and sorted the food for us following the collection.

Sauces for meals (e.g. curries and pasta)

Washing up liquid

Deodorants

Shampoo
