Tier 4 - Foodbank Open but Warehouse deliveries Not essential
As an essential service supplying food Slough Foodbank is open as usual for those with referrals to collect their food.
Our volunteers are permitted to travel to do their roles.
Deliveries to our warehouses are NOT essential so please do not break the advice to bring them now.
Our warehouse is closed to deliveries.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
Foodbanks are open at our distribution centres during normal times. Clients must be in food poverty and must have an electronic voucher from a referral agency to attend. Referral agencies from outside of the Slough area must contact us by phone to let us know they have sent an e-voucher and we can give them advice for their clients with regards to where and when to attend.
January Warehouse Closure
Slough is in Tier 4 so please don't break the rules by coming out to donate to Slough Foodbank. Rest assured we have plentiful supplies thanks to very generous pre-Christmas donations. Our warehouse will be closed for the whole of January to protect our volunteers working to sort the stock from December. We cannot risk anyone in the warehouse team bubble being infected and causing us to close completely.
The government guidance is as follows:
Being in tier 4 means: Residents must stay at home and only travel for work, essential supplies and medical necessity
