Gail Pinkerton-Field appointed as Slough Foodbank Manager

Slough Foodbank is pleased to announce the appointment of Gail Pinkerton-Field as Foodbank Manager. The Trustees of Slough Foodbank chose Gail out of a strong field of 19 applicants and are delighted that Gail accepted the position and will be starting in September.
Gail brings extensive experience in general management, project delivery, and sales development, combined with her five years of dedicated volunteering at Britwell Distribution Centre. This unique blend of professional expertise and local commitment positions her strongly to lead the Foodbank as it continues to provide vital support in the community.
“It is a privilege to take on this role and to work alongside such committed volunteers and Trustees” said Gail. “My focus will be on supporting our clients with compassion; strengthening and developing our volunteer network, ensuring every volunteer feels valued, connected, and equipped to make a difference. Together, we will continue to support those in crisis and build partnerships across Slough to help realise the Trussell Trust and Slough Foodbank’s vision of ending the need for foodbanks.”
