Would you like to make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis?  We have the following opportunities available:

Supermarket Donation Volunteer

With food donations decreasing, supermarket donation drives allow Slough Foodbank to encourage supermarket customers to donate much needed food items. You’ll be comfortable approaching people, handing them a shopping list and asking for a food donation.

Foodbank Driver (Monday morning 9.30am – 12pm)

Duke of Edinburgh Volunteer (14-18 years)

Duke of Edinburgh participants can engage in various roles at Slough Foodbank such as sorting food donations, helping with stock rotation, packing food parcels and welcoming clients.

A core part of the DofE programme is a sustained period of volunteering to make a difference in the community and we are able to offer this opportunity.

Volunteering helps young people develop skills such as teamwork, communication and a sense of responsibility and compassion, contributing to their personal development

Social Media & Communications Volunteer

Slough Foodbank is looking for a Social Media and Communications volunteer to help gain support, through our social media platforms, for our activity as a food bank and raise awareness in our local community of the drivers pushing people into poverty in order to inspire local people to take action.
