We gave 3,120 food parcels to people in crisis during the first six months of the pandemic. That’s not right. At Slough Foodbank, we’ll always work to provide vital support to local people while our help is needed, but ultimately, we should all have enough money for the basics. We need the government to invest in a welfare system which keeps money in the pockets of people who need it most.
We’re expecting this winter to be our busiest yet. We don’t have to live with this – we can begin to end the injustice now & build a #HungerFreeFuture @TrussellTrust > www.trusselltrust.org/hunger-free-future.
