On Thursday, Friday and Saturday we were at @TaplowTesco and @SloughTesco meeting shoppers and asking for food donations from our shopping list. We received a fantastic 2,580Kg of food.
A huge thank you to all Slough Foodbank Volunteers, the Community Champions at Tesco Taplow and Tesco Slough Extra and the corporates @Handelsbanken and @BritishGas for making this such a success.
We also want to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who donated – to explain how the 2,580kg donation will help, approximately 10kg of essential food items and 1kg of toiletry items provide a single person with three days of emergency supplies.
