FIGURES FOR THE NUMBER OF FOOD PARCELS PROVIDED BY SLOUGH FOODBANK DURING 1 – 31 October 2022, COMPARED WITH THE SAME PERIOD IN 2021.
Total number of food parcels: 886 a 47% increase
Number of adults: 582 a 50% increase
Number of children: 304 a 43% increase
Yet another month of increased figures versus last year as the cost of living crises continues to have real and lasting effects on the people living in and around Slough. There is no sign of this easing and the pressure on Slough Foodbank to meet this demand continues.
