Job Advert: Administrator – Volunteers

Job purpose

We’re seeking someone who is called to play a hands-on role in supporting the Volunteer Co-ordinator through all aspects of administration. You will have an eye for detail and excellent organisation skills whilst at the same time being sensitive to volunteers and their needs and have an encouraging approach. Main duties & Responsibilities

The Administrator – Volunteers role has responsibility for the support and administration of volunteer management at Slough Foodbank. The role is varied and responsibilities include:

  • Administration of volunteer recruitment
  • Organisation of volunteer training sessions
  • Administration of Rotas and liaising with volunteers
  • Creating and ongoing administration of volunteer files
  • Communication and managing volunteer enquiries
  • Support corporate volunteering projects
  • General office administration to cover other roles within the office when required

The Administrator – Volunteers role will work closely with the Volunteer Co-ordinator and report into the Foodbank Manager.

 

Remuneration and how to apply

Part time, 20 hours per week based in Slough.

Salary: £12,900 – £14,300 – the employee will be expected to contribute to a workplace pension. 12 month fixed-term contract.
