A huge thank you to our volunteers who helped out on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Tesco Extra Slough and Tesco Taplow during the winter collection. Thanks to the generosity of Tesco customers we had 4,513Kgs of food and toiletry items donated.
Approximately 10kg of essential food items and 1kg of toiletry items provide a single person with 3 days of emergency supplies – so this collection will make a massive difference to people struggling in food poverty crisis in slough and the surrounding areas.
