April stats – 19% increase on last year

2nd May 2023

FIGURES FOR THE NUMBER OF FOOD PARCELS PROVIDED BY SLOUGH FOODBANK DURING 1 – 30 April 2023, COMPARED WITH THE SAME PERIOD IN 2022

Total number of food parcels: 846 up 19%
Number of adults: 525 up 16%
Number of children: 321 up 22%

These figures once again show the issue of food poverty crisis in Slough and the surrounding areas with an increase in 22% of children fed versus April 2022.
