Thank you to all who donated at our Tesco winter collection

We’d like to say a huge thank your to all the customers at Tesco Taplow and Tesco Slough Extra who donated during our winter collection campaign on the 28 – 30 November. Thanks to your incredible generosity over 4 tonnes of food and essential toiletries were donated in 3 days. This is a huge and very important donation for Slough Foodbank. Thanks to your support we can help the people of Slough and the surrounding areas this winter.

We still need more donations though, as last year we distributed around 100 tonnes of food and toiletries. Every month we publish a shopping list of our most needed items.

If you are able to support us, please consider donating throughout the year – thank you.

A big thank you also to the volunteers who helped on the day – it takes a lot to make this a success including handing out shopping lists, collecting donations, packing donations, stacking the van, driving the van and unloading in our warehouse as well as sorting and storing the donations. Its been a busy start to December for us!
