February Stats – sadly a 13% increase in demand this month versus same period in 2024

FIGURES FOR THE NUMBER OF FOOD PARCELS PROVIDED BY SLOUGH FOODBANK DURING 1 – 28 FEBRUARY 2025, COMPARED WITH THE SAME PERIOD IN FEBRUARY 2024

Total number of food parcels: 992, a 13% increase
Number of adults: 618, a 10% increase
Number of children: 374, a 18% increase

The total number of parcels provided during February is 13% greater when compared to February last year. This is disappointing as for the past 3 months we had seen a decrease versus the same month in the previous year. We know there are people facing food poverty and hardship and we will continue to do all we can to help them through this crisis.
