Slough Foodbank relies on the support of local and national businesses to keep our doors open and our shelves stocked. By partnering with us, you’ll be tackling food poverty right on your doorstep and showing your colleagues and customers that you care about your community.
Ways Your Business Can Get Involved
1. Support Our Work Financially
- Organise a fundraising event or choose us as your Charity of the Year.
- Sponsor or donate equipment to support the day-to-day running of the foodbank.
- Make a regular corporate donation to help us plan for the future.
2. Run a Food or Essentials Drive
- Host a collection point in your office or workplace.
- Invite staff and customers to donate food and household essentials.
- We’ll provide guidance on the items we need most and help promote your drive.
3. Volunteer as a Team
- Book a corporate team volunteering day (by arrangement).
- Help sort, date-check and pack food donations in our warehouse.
- Give your team a hands-on, eye-opening experience of the difference they can make.
Share Your Skills – Volunteer Roles for Your Staff
Many of our most valuable roles are skills-based. Your colleagues can volunteer individually or as part of a small team in areas such as:
- Social media champions – help us reach more people online.
- Photographers & content creators – capture images and stories we can share.
- Marketing & communications – support campaigns, newsletters and outreach.
- Fundraisers – help design and deliver fundraising activities and appeals.
- Admin support – assist with updating databases, processing forms and sending thank-you messages.
