Our Shopping List

We have a shopping list of items that we currently need –

Our Current Slough Foodbank Wishlist

You can purchase these items wherever you prefer and then bring them to our warehouse or a supermarket as described below.

  • Please only donate these items that we currently need.
  • Due to generous donations, we are overstocked and have 12 months supply of pasta and DO NOT NEED PASTA.

Special Items For Christmas

To help make things a little brighter, we’re also asking our wonderful community to donate Christmas Hamper items for local families in need.

Getting Your Donations To Us

To get the food items to us, you can choose from one of the following options –

Option 1 – Buy Online With Common Good

We have created a wish list with Common Good, which enables you to buy the items we need online and these are delivered direct to our warehouse.

Option 2 – Use the BankTheFood App

We are also registered with BankTheFood App – you can download this here:  https://www.bankthefood.org/downloadapp/

Once downloaded, follow Slough Foodbank and the app will send you a helpful ‘ping’ with a reminder of our needs when you are shopping in your local supermarket.

You can then choose exactly what you would like to donate and leave your donation in Slough Foodbank’s collection boxes at the supermarket, after you have gone through the checkout desks.

Option 3 – Bring Donations To Our Warehouse

Our warehouse is open for donations at the following times:

Mondays 1-3pm

Wednesdays and Fridays 10am – 12noon

Further Information

We would like to thank everyone who has made donations over the past few months either at our warehouse or at supermarket collection points.

We hope you will understand that we are unable to send out individual thank you letters as we are incredibly busy and we must focus our time on the primary purpose of helping those in food poverty. We are incredibly grateful for your donations and support.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other foodbanks to support their work particularly if they are experiencing shortages or we have surplus in certain items. This ensures your donations go to help people in need wherever they are in the UK.

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.

If you would like to make a monetary donation it will be gratefully received. We do have to cover overheads and running costs. We also need to fund our Fuelbank, which provides a gas or electricity voucher so that those in receipt of our food parcels are able to cook/heat the food we provide. Give a monetary donation.
