Every year, around the traditional harvest festival time, we launch our harvest appeal. This year we have a number of food and basic toiletry items that we are in urgent need of. Some of our shelves are empty.
Slough Foodbank depends on donations of long-life food. Last year we gave out over 97 tonnes of food in 9,322 food parcels. This year the number of people we’re helping has risen but the level of donations we’re receiving is down.
Please can you support us this year by buying an extra item at the supermarket and leaving it in the permanent collection point or perhaps you could organise a collection in your street and drop the items to us at our warehouse. Details of opening times are available here.
